
According to the OECD, after New Zealand, Ireland had the highest suicide rate in the world in the 15 - 24 age group and 80% of that group are male. More people die by suicide in Ireland than on our roads each year.
Pat Kenny spoke to some of those who have survived and others who have lost family members and are now trying to help others.
